
A day-long symposium on ‘Nari Shakti Se Viksit Bharat’ began in New Delhi today to commemorate International Women’s Day. President Droupadi Murmu is presiding over the national conference. Speaking on the occasion, the President stated that International Women’s Day is observed to recognize the achievements made by women. She stated that this is an opportunity to dedicate oneself to promoting gender equality. Following the conference, there will be a high-level panel discussion and three technical breakout sessions. Annpurna Devi, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, is also attending the ceremony.
