The human story where three lives interweave beyond and because of a cricket field—Actors R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth’s next Tamil film “Test”—is all set to launch on April 4 on the streaming behemoth Netflix. Actor Meera Jasmine will be seen sharing screens with Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth in the movie, so marking the directorial debut of producer S. Sashikanth. Regarding “Test,” which YNOT Studios backs, Sashikanth said: “Having nurtured stories as a producer for years, stepping into the director’s chair for TEST was both exhilarating and very personal.”
The movie, he said, is about tenacity, the weight of decisions, and how life itself is the toughest test of all. Combining three powerhouse actors—R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth—for the first time made this trip very memorable. I appreciate YNOT Studios, Netflix, and my amazing crew for realizing this goal.
