
MacBook Air M4 Launched in India at Rs 15,000 Less Than M3 Model
Driven by the cutting-edge M4 CPU and with an all-new “Sky Blue” color choice, Apple has introduced its new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models in India The launch’s main point of interest is that the new MacBook Air variants are rather less expensive than their predecessors. Whereas the 15-inch MacBook Air M4 costs Rs 124,900, the 13-inch model starts at Rs 99,900. Starting at Rs 114,900 for the 13-inch model and Rs 134,900 for the 15-inch model, this indicates that the new version is Rs 15,000 less than the MacBook Air M3 versions debuted last year.
“It now starts at just $999 (about Rs 86,800). Apple said, addressing the US market, $100 (roughly Rs 8,700) less than before and $899 (about Rs 78,100) for education, making it an amazing value for consumers, business professionals, or anyone looking for a fantastic mix of world-class performance, portability, design, and durability. Although the India pricing are always higher than those of the US market, the good news is that the new MacBook Air models have been revealed in the Indian market at a considerably less price than the 2024 models.

The revised MacBook Air range features a fresh colour choice named “Sky Blue.” This finish combines the current colors (midnight, Starlight, and Silver) with a faint metallic blue hue that produces a changing gradient look upon light impact. Apple is now offering color-matched MagSafe charging cables in all models along with this new hue. Designed to automatically resize the frame during video conversations to keep users centered, the 12-megapixel Center Stage camera found in the new MacBook Air models is This function also supports Desk View, which lets users show themselves and a view of their workspace at virtual meetings concurrently.
Comparatively to its predecessor, the M4 chip offers faster processing capability by bringing a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU. Along with storage choices starting from 256GB and up to 2TB, the base model comprises 16GB of RAM, which can be adjusted up to 32GB.
Apple has also improved the Thunderbolt connections from Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 4, providing better connectivity choices including support for two external displays while maintaining the laptop’s screen active. The updated models also keep stereo speakers for enhanced music output, a 3.5mm headphone connection, and a MagSafe 3 charging port.
Now pre-orderable, the updated MacBook Air variants will be sold in stores beginning March 12.
