Concurrently, the second tranche of money under Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on March 8 to about 1 crore women beneficiaries.
On March 7 evening, the Deputy CM asked all women recipients to lit lamps in front of their homes’ main doors to commemorate the scheme’s success.
More than 18 lakh women recipients got in the fourth phase on February 8—Rs 5,000.
Launched on September 17, 2024, the Subhadra Scheme followed the establishment of the BJP government in Odisha. Although Rs 5,000 was credited to 25 lakh women recipients’ bank accounts in first phase, on October 9 last year the plan benefited about 39 lakh women in second phase. On November 24, the third phase money was distributed to twenty lakh women beneficiaries.
